Frank Conrad Weiland, III, 81, of Lynchburg, passed away on Monday, January 31, 2022, at his home. He was the husband of the late Betty Burnett Weiland, to whom he was married for 44 years.

Frank was born on February 19, 1940, in Lynchburg, Va. to the late Frank C. Weiland, Jr and Ruby Carwile Weiland. He retired from Lynchburg Foundry after over 30 years of service and was currently employed by Jefferson Lighting. He served in the US Navy and was a member of the Tin Can Sailors. He enjoyed beekeeping and could often be found driving out to check on "his" bees.

Frank is survived by his two daughters, Christi Metcalf (Cliff) and Carrie Weiland; his brother, Luther Weiland (Nancy); and his companion, Peggy Robinson.
