Frank Clifton (Bushcat) Torrence, 61 of Salem Road, Spout Spring died Friday night December 5, 2014 at the University of Virginia Hospital. He was the husband of Janice Lee Torrence.
Frank was born in Lynchburg May 11, 1953 a son of the late Frank Allen Torrence and Doris Franklin Dalton. He was a member of Spout Spring Baptist Church and a truck driver for First Fleet. Frank was a tractor mechanic and farmer and he loved doing both of them.
In addition to his wife, Frank is survived by a daughter, Kathy A. Paulette and her husband, Jeff of Appomattox; a son Keith Torrence and his wife, April of Spout Spring; two grandchildren, Calvin Torrence and Elon Paulette; four sisters and two brothers, Delores Jones and her husband, Kenneth of Spout Spring, Linda Almond and her husband, Donnie of Appomattox, Melinda Mitchell and her husband, Rick of Richmond, Thomas Davis, David Davis and his wife, Teresa all of Spout Spring, Donna Sayre of Appomattox; his step-mother, Betty Torrence of Appomattox and step-father, Avery Dalton of Spout Spring.
Funeral services will be held 11am Monday December 8, 2014 at Spout Spring Baptist Church officiated by the Rev. Paul D. Kvasnicka. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
