Frank Lee Ramsey, 83, of Park Street, Pamplin went to be with the Lord, on Friday, July 25, 2014, in Appomattox Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was the husband of Arizona Shelton Ramsey for 63 years.
Born in Red House, VA, on July 13, 1931, he was a son of the late Rosa Berta St. John and Kester Ramsey. He was a member of Clearview Baptist Church, a past member of the Pamplin Volunteer Fire Department, and retired from Boxley.
In addition to his wife he is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Phyllis and Wilson Garrison; two grandsons, Christopher Jason Garrison of Pamplin and Jamie Lee Garrison of Lynchburg; and numerous nieces and nephews including a special niece, Carolyn Hamilton.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Elsie Scott Smith and two brothers, Jesse and Enos Ramsey.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 28, 2014, at Robinson Funeral Home by the Rev. Paul McLinden and Rev. Terry Cook. Burial will follow in Rocks Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, July 27, from 7-8:30 p.m.
