Obituary

Frank Mullins, 77, of Strasburg passed away Nov. 2, 2016.

Frank Mullins was born July 1, 1939, in Appomattox County. He lived in Strasburg for 32 years. Frank was the son of the late Francis Reynolds and Joshua Mullins.

He served in the Air Force and retired as a Chief in 1992. Frank was a lifetime member of VFW American Legion and NRA.

He is survived by his son, Frank E. Mullins (Kari); daughter Teresa Mullins; granddaughter Desiree Mullins; mother of his children, Patricia Mullins; sisters Ruth Wicks of Butler, MO., and Bonnie Wright of Lynchburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Emery Mullins and Hubert Mullins; and one sister, Vivian Smith.

A graveside service will be held 2:30 p.m., Sunday, November 20, 2016 at Central Baptist Church Cemetery with Raymond Mullins officiating with military rites accorded by American Legion Post #104 and VFW #9855 combined honor guard.

A memorial service will be held 4:00 p.m., Sunday, November 20, 2016 at Spout Spring Ruritan Club 218 Ruritan Lane, Spout Spring, with Rev. Jeff Worley officiating.
