Frank Stanley Lively, 85, of Bent Creek Road, Concord, died Wednesday, February 20, 2019, at Lynchburg General Hospital. He was the husband of Donna Charlene Lively.
Born in West Virginia, on January 28, 1934, he was a son of the late Stella Stanley and Frank Lively. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. After serving 20 years, Frank retired from the US Navy as a Master Chief Petty Officer. He also spent 20 years working as a truck driver.
In addition to his wife he is survived by three daughters, Marcella Lively of Nashville, Tenn., Karen Gaskill and Ellis of New Bern, N.C., and Teresa Lively of Las Vegas, Nev.; three step-children, Danny Arrington and Jeannie of Richmond; Judi Crumpler and Charles of Lynchburg, and Jason Arrington of Appomattox; two grandchildren, Brian Witt of Wilmington, N. C. and Lisa Witt of New Bern, N.C.; 10 step-grandchildren; a cherished great-granddaughter, Peyton Cuthrell of New Bern, N.C.; and numerous beloved family members.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Wanda Gay Lively.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, February 23, 2019, in Liberty Baptist Church by the Rev. Rusty Small with burial following in Liberty Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
