Frances Kestner Guill, 84, of Appomattox, VA, passed away on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at Lynchburg General Hospital.

Born on September 20, 1940, in Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Mary Franklin Kestner and the late Theodore Roosevelt Kestner.

She is survived by her two daughters, Laura Avery Figg and husband, Glenn, and Jessica Guill Weakley and husband, Shane; four grandchildren, Hayley Carrico, Bree Carrico, Shane Woods, and Shanna Parker and husband, Steven; five great-grandchildren, Austyn Franklin, Kaylynn Duncan, Trinity McCoy, Chaney Woods, and Makayla Ragland; and two great-great-grandchildren, Hudson Franklin and Mikey McCoy.

She was preceded in death by three sisters, Clarine K. Mays, Faye K. Bugg, and Evelyn K. Chernault.

A graveside service will be held at 11am, on Monday, May 12, 2025, at Liberty Cemetery, officiated by Reverend Dr. Rusty Small.
