Frances Carson Evans, 92, of Concord, died Friday, September 22, 2023.  She was the wife of the late Jesse Everette Evans.

Born in Appomattox County, August 15, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Alice Thompson and Aurelius Burton Carson, Sr.

She is survived by her son, Mark Everette Evans and wife, Helen of Concord; three grandchildren, Jessee D. Evans, Amber Evans (Franklin Metz, Jr.) and Shaina Evans (Terrence Younger); six great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, and five sisters.

A private service will be held at a later date.
