Obituary
Florence Covington Baldwin, 90, of Pamplin, died at her home Friday morning March 26, 2010. She is survived by her husband of 70 years Emmitt Wilson Baldwin.
Born February 1, 1920, she was a daughter of the late John M. and Lou Rassie Price Covington. She was a member of Piney Ridge United Methodist Church.
In addition to her husband she is survived by two sisters, Sally C. Collins, of Farmville, Judy C. Rutledge, and her husband William, of Williamsburg; a brother-in-law, Newton Hubbard, of Richmond, a number of nieces and nephews, a number of great nieces and nephews, including two special great nieces, Janis Bunce and Jill Richardson, and a number of great-great nieces and nephews, including two special great-great nieces, Suzanne and Stephanie Bunce. She was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.
A graveside funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday March 28, 2010 in Piney Ridge United Methodist Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Robert Green officiating. Following the service the family will visit with family and friends in the church.
