Faye Jeanette Mayberry, 71, of Bradford Lane, died Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the wife of the late Alex Carroll Mayberry.
Born in Appomattox County, November 20, 1945, she was a daughter of the late Edith Ferguson and Elijah Herbert McFadden.
She is survived by two sons, Ricky Allen Lewis of Abingdon, Robert Lee Lewis and wife, Rachael Hartman Lewis of Appomattox; one daughter, Patricia Faye Harper and husband, Timothy Lynn of Blue Ridge; two sisters, Patricia Elliott and husband, Cleve, Betty Lucado and husband, Clinton; one sister-in-law, Mona Jane McFadden; six grandchildren, Robert Arthur Williams, Nicholas Lynn Harper, James Kyle Williams, Brandon Lee Harper, Courtney Louise Lewis, Jessica Mae Lewis; one great-granddaughter, Angela Grace Williams; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Wells Courtney Lewis; seven brothers, Royal McFadden, Joe McFadden, Bill McFadden, Buster McFadden, Bob McFadden, Herbert Lee McFadden and Herbert Allen McFadden.
A celebration of life will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Robinson Funeral Home with Pastor Troy Mueller officiating.
The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 p.m., Friday, June 23, 2017 at Robinson Funeral Home.
