Faye Kestner Bugg, 77, of Peach Street, Appomattox, died Saturday, July 10, 2010 in Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the loving wife of Paul Herndon Bugg for 50 years.
Born in Appomattox County, February 13, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Theodore R. and Mary Franklin Kestner. Faye was a member of Liberty Baptist Church where she was a past member of the Lottie Moon Circle of the WMU. She was a former member of the Appomattox Co. Volunteer Rescue Squad Auxiliary.
In addition to her husband she is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Hugh Herndon and Linda Bugg of Lynchburg; a daughter and son-in-law Nadine Bugg Blakely and John E. Blakely of Forest; three sisters, Clarine Mays, Evelyn Chernault and Frances Guill, all of Appomattox; three devoted grandchildren, Stuart, Spencer, and Savannah Blakely of Forest; three step-grandchildren, Blake, Danny and Justin Woodard of Lynchburg.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 13, 2010, at Robinson Funeral Home by the Rev. Jeff Worley and Rev. Rusty Small. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. Monday, July 12, 2010 at Robinson Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
A special thank you to her wonderful nurses, Dorothy Fleming, Renita Worley, and Melissa and the Medical Care Center Staff for the care and concern shown to Faye during her five year stay.
