Evelyn Durie Reynolds, 90, of Lynchburg, died Wednesday, February 28, 2024.  She was the wife of the late Clarence Rosser Reynolds.

Born in Appomattox County, June 6, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Dora Belle Godsey Durie and Winthrop Southwest Durie.  Evelyn attended Jordan Baptist Church in Lynchburg.  She worked many years as a seamstress working in garment factories in Appomattox and Lynchburg.

She is survived by her son Tommy Reynolds and wife Patricia; four grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, David Wayne Reynolds; daughter, Wanda Kay Reynolds; and two brothers, Leslie Wells "Bo" Durie and Harry Obie Durie.
