Obituary
Evelyn Marie Arnold, 92, of Red House Road, Appomattox, Va. and formerly of Kennett Square, Pa., passed away at Lynchburg General Hospital on January 12, 2016 at 9:40 p.m. surrounded by her children.
She was born in Fort Worth, Texas on June 24, 1923, a daughter of the late Leonard Briggs and Anna Mae Bell Wade. She was married to the late Dennis Odell Arnold, Sr.
She is survived by two sons, Dennis Arnold, Jr. and wife, Barbara of Concord and Larry Arnold and wife, Rebecca of Weaver, Ala.; one daughter, Brenda Frankenberger and husband, Kenneth of Parkesburg, Pa.; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Marilyn Watt and a granddaughter, Natasha Arnold.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, January 16, 2016, at Central Baptist Church by the Rev. Frank Casper with burial following in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
