Obituary
Esther Evans Grubbs, 70, of Concord, died Saturday, April 1, 2023, at her residence. She was the wife of the late Larry Arnold "Worm" Grubbs.
Born in Lynchburg, April 25, 1952, she was a daughter of the late Pauline Craighead Evans and David Evans.
She is survived by one son, Jesse David "J.D." Grubbs and wife, Wendy of Concord; two grandchildren, Cheyenne and Cameron; one sister, Susan E. Reynolds of Appomattox; and two brothers, James "Jimmy" Evans and wife, Judy of Concord and William "Bill" "Tito" Evans.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cynthia Gayle Grubbs.
A private funeral service will be held.
