Ester Hamlet Fulcher Price, 98, of Pamplin, died Thursday, January 28, 2021, at Southside Community Hospital.

Born in Charlotte County, Va., on May 28, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Florence Uthresha Elder Hamlet and Alfred Martin Hamlet. She was a longtime member of Elon Baptist Church and retired from Amelia Dress Company.

Ester is survived by a daughter, Linda Fulcher Price of Pamplin; stepdaughter, Wanda Vandergrift; four grandchildren, Chad Fulcher, Uthresha Branham, Tonya Long Trent and Kelly, and David Price; a sister, Lillian H. Womack of Greer, S.C.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two husbands, Woodrow Wilson Fulcher and Hubert Lee Price; two brothers, Roy and Ray Hamlet; and a sister, Irene Hamlet Holley.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations be made to Elon Baptist Church, PO Box 1238, Pamplin, VA 23958.

A private service will be held at Pamplin Community Cemetery.
