Estelle Belle Moore

Estelle Belle Moore, 98, of Appomattox, VA, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Babcock Manor.

Born in Appomattox, VA, on August 26, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Ethel O’Thelma Wells and Samuel Arthur Moore, Sr. She was a member of Appomattox Seventh-Day Adventist Church.

She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, including a special nephew, Joseph Samuel Moore and wife, Ellen, and their daughter, Gwen and a sister-in-law, Lola Jamerson Moore.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters, Ottice Zedekah Moore, Sr., Riley Velma M. Mitchell, Samuel Arthur Moore, Jr., Ethel Horweda M. Mitchell, Christian Wells “C.W.” Moore, Marshall Jane M. Gentry, and Omar Havilah Moore, Sr.

A funeral will be held at 2 pm, on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at Robinson Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Samuel Moore. A private family burial will be held at Paris-Moore Family Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
