Erma Ferguson Page, 84, of Log Cabin Road, Appomattox, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2016 at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the wife of the late George (Mick) B. Page.

Erma was born in Appomattox County, June 19, 1932; she was a daughter of the late Hattie Bryant and Elish Thomas Ferguson. Erma was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sons, David Page and wife, Charlotte and Ricky Page and wife, Lisa all of Appomattox; one brother, Oral Ferguson and wife Christine of Appomattox; eight grandchildren, Connie Horton and husband, Billy, Michael Page, Jr., Kristy Middleton and husband, Mike, Angela Page and husband, Todd, Jeremy Page and wife, Lacie, Crystal Page, Kimberly Page, and Carrie Franklin; 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; a special niece Dale H. Franklin of Appomattox; two sisters-in-law, Macca Lee Ferguson of Appomattox and Dot Ferguson of Gladstone; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son, Michael "Mike" Page, three brothers, John T. Ferguson, Bobby A. Ferguson and Lloyd T. Ferguson and two sisters, Frances Harris Walker and Doris Christine Ferguson.

A funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Monday, December 19, 2016 at New Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Ron Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at New Hope Baptist Church and other times at her residence.
