Eric Gordon Gannicott, 83, of Stewart Farm Lane, Appomattox, died Tuesday, December 3, 2013, at his residence. He was the husband of the late Berth Margaret Swift Gannicott.

Born in Walthamstow, England, U.K., he was a son of the late Lydia Louise Rice and Stanley Leonard Gannicott. He served in the Royal Air Force and was a retired High School teacher. All that knew him, know him.

He is survived by three sons, Geoff Gannicott and his wife, Priscilla of Evergreen, Gordon Gannicott and his wife, Chris Chabre of Portland, OR, and Daniel Gannicott of Seattle, WA; four grandsons, Brandon Gannicott, Trevor Gannicott, Evan Gannicott, and Duncan Gannicott; two brothers, Keith Gannicott of Essex, United Kingdom and David Gannicott of London, England; a sister, Brenda Smith of United Kingdom.
