Emmett Earl McFadden, Sr., 80, of Gladstone passed away on November 10, 2022, at Lynchburg General Hospital. He was the husband of the late Linda Lee Litchford McFadden.

Born in Gladstone on September 8, 1942, he was the son of the late James McFadden and Gladys McCormick McFadden.

He is survived by his children, Emmett E. McFadden, Jr., Timmy McFadden and wife, Donna, Richard McFadden and wife, Brenda, Robert McFadden and wife, Tina, John Williams McFadden, James Earl McCormick, Erica Garrett, Loretta McCormick, and Ryan Burks; along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Gracie Jessup, and Corrine Slater.

A funeral service will be held 2 pm, Monday, November 14, 2022, at Robinson Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Childress officiating. Burial will follow in McFadden Family Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4-6 pm, Sunday, November 13 at Robinson Funeral Home.
