Obituary
Elsie McFadden Price, 84, of Altavista, passed away in her home surrounded by family and friends Sunday, October 16, 2016.
Preceded in death by Chester Price (husband) of 47 years, brothers, Shirley T. McFadden, James W. McFadden and Lyle McFadden; a sister, Caroline Tweedy; a son, Pete Tyree; a granddaughter, Samantha Tyree; and a grandson Brandon Carter.
She is survived by two sisters, Anna Dixon and Ella Baldock; one daughter, Linda Goodman and husband, James; two granddaughters, Heather Goodman and Tammy Edwards; two grandsons, Jimmy Goodman and Chris Tyree; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and a special nephew James Dixon.
A graveside service will be held 3 p.m., Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Gladstone Cemetery with Rev. Ronnie Freeman officiating.
The family will be receiving guest at the residence of Elsie at 915 5th Street, Altavista, VA.
