Obituary
Elsie Mae Collins Dashiells, 90, of Lynchburg, died November 8, 2015, in the Lynchburg Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Born in Brookford, N.C. on May 6, 1925 she was a daughter of the late Beulah Dalton and Eather Henry Collins. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.
She is survived by three children, Michael Stern and wife, Elizabeth of Baltimore, Md., Biancia Tate and husband, John of Lynchburg, and William Dashiells of Pasadena, Md.; four grandchildren; and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by a son, Mark Stern; a sister, Inez Trish; and a brother, Henry Collins.
A graveside service will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday, November 11, 2015 in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.
