Emma Elizabeth (Liz) Robertson Quinn, 86, of Appomattox, died Monday, June 10, 2013, in the Avante of Lynchburg. She was the wife of the late John Leo Quinn, Jr.

Born in Appomattox County, VA, on June 5, 1927, she was the daughter of the late David North Robertson and Ruth Coleman Robertson. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and retired from Elliott Florist.

Liz is survived by two sons, James Patrick Quinn of Appomattox and Michael Leo Quinn and his wife, Monica of Hickory, NC; one granddaughter, Megan Virginia Quinn; a sister, Eulelia Evans and her husband, Bernard of Charlottesville; and a brother-in-law, Kyle Coleman of Appomattox. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Annie R. Goodrich and Roberta R. Coleman.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, June 13, 2013, in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery by the Rev. Ron Moore. The family will receive friends after the service in the fellowship hall of the church.
