Elizabeth (Betsy) Thomas Green, 58, of Church St., Pamplin, died Tuesday, November 20, 2007 in Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the wife the Reverend Robert Green.
Born in Wilmington, Delaware, March 28, 1949, she was the daughter of Jacquelyn White Thomas of Parksley and the late Fredrick Orland Thomas. Betsy was a respiratory therapist and a lifelong United Methodist. She loved the Lord and loved serving the church.
In addition to her husband and mother she is survived by two sons, Daniel B. Green, II and his wife, Vibeke of Parksley, and Donald B. Green of Henrico; three grandsons, Michael Kwasigroch, Daniel Kwasigroch, and Benjamin Green; a sister, Kathy Mikus and husband, Bob of Indianapolis, Indiana; and two brothers, John Thomas of Parksley and William Thomas and wife, Rose of El Paso, Texas.
A memorial service will be held 1:00 pm, Saturday, November 24, 2007 at Evergreen United Methodist by the Rev. Bob Cooper. Following the service the family will receive friends in the fellowship hall and other times at the residence.
