Eleanor Bolton Burge

Eleanor "T.T." Bolton Burge, 92, of Gladstone, died Monday, June 18, 2018, at Babcock Manor. Twice married, her first husband was the late Sherman Hunter and her second husband was the late W. Fletcher Burge, Jr.

Born in Lynchburg, Va., on September 14, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Mary Walton and Carrington Bolton. She was a member of Gladstone Memorial Baptist Church where she was involved in the WMU and was a member of the Gladstone Senior Group. "T.T." loved to cook and share her delicious food.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Mark Truslow of Arrington; a step-granddaughter, Samantha Brooks and husband, Michael of Waynesboro; three step-great-grandchildren, Zane, Brayden, and Carter; a sister-in-law, Ruth Bolton of Gladstone; a nephew, Scott Bolton of Gladstone; and a niece, Bonnie Bebar and husband, Mark of Fredericksburg.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Harry Bolton.

A graveside funeral service will be held 11a.m., Thursday, June 21, 2018, in Amherst Cemetery followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m. at Robinson Funeral Home by Dr. James Fetty and Rev. Greg McCormick.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7-8:30 p.m., on Wednesday, June 20, 2018.
