Edythe Williams Peters, 90, died Thursday, March 17, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hebert H. Peters, Sr. and a son, Herbert H. Peters, Jr.

She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Eddie Peters and Dr. Mari Nagase, Ric and Laurinda Peters, Ken and Becky Peters; a daughter, Jan Peters Hatcher; a daughter-in-law, Linda Peters; a brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Merle Williams; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Rita Bryant and Shelby and Joe Ponton; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at Robinson Funeral Home, 667 Court Street, Appomattox, today, Friday, March 18, from 6-8:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m., Saturday, March 19, 2011 at Robinson Funeral Home by the Rev. Robert Wilson with burial following in Pamplin Cemetery. There will be a reception following the service at Piney Ridge United Methodist Church.
