Edward Wayne Doss, 54, of Appomattox, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at Carrington Place Health and Rehab in Daleville.

Born in Lynchburg on November 6, 1967, he was the son of the late Robert Lawrence Doss and Edith May Baldwin Doss. He worked as a machine operator for Thomasville Furniture. He served his country in the United States Navy.

He is survived by a sister, Nancy D. Page of Appomattox; a brother, David L. Doss and wife, Beth of Richmond; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald M. Doss, and Robert O. Doss.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery.
