Edna Webber, 73, of Oakleigh Avenue, died Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at Appomattox Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Lawrence Hanson Webber.
Born February 1, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Mary Camden and Leonard Baars. Edna was a member of Bethel Bible Church and retired from Armstrong Furniture. She enjoyed attending and participating in the events of Central Virginia Area Agency on Aging.
She is survived by three sons, Walter Drewry and wife, April of Big Island, Thomas Drewry of Appomattox and Ted Drewry and wife, Linda of Amherst; two daughters, Edna Whitehead and husband, Jay of Appomattox and Alicia Woodard and husband, Steve of Gladstone; two sisters, Gracie Mayberry of Appomattox and Shirley Huddleston of South Carolina; eight grandchildren, Eric Johnson, Kelly Johnson, Jason Thompson and wife, Katie, Robbie Thompson, Stile Drewry, Ted Drewry Jr., Earnest Drewry and Rayvn Drewry; four great-grandchildren, Hailey, Autumn, Olivia and Elizabeth; and a dear friend, Isabelle Patterson.
She was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Drewry, one brother, Leonard Baars and three sisters, Rosa Hunt, Virginia Goin and Ruth Gibbs.
A Graveside Service will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Liberty Cemetery with Pastor Orville Gregory officiating.
The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 p.m, Friday, July 8, 2016 at Robinson Funeral Home and other times at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Edna and Jay Whitehead.
