Edith Mann Tolley, 93, of Little Cub Road, Pamplin, died February 7, 2013 at her home after an extended illness. She was the wife of the late O. Hunter Tolley, Sr.
Edith was born in Ronceverte, WV on May 8, 1919 a daughter of the late Mary Winton and Arthur Mann. She was a member of Piney Ridge United Methodist Church for 59 years, served her church as Treasurer, taught Sunday school and was a youth leader for many years. She was a retired co-owner of Tolley's Exxon for over 40 years; and a member of Eastern Star Chapter #58 of Pamplin.
Edith is survived by her children, O. Hunter "Sonny" Tolley, Jr.; Joyce Tolley and Mary Tolley all of Pamplin; grandchildren, Tim (Dawn) Tolley of Appomattox; Chris (Donna) Tolley; Darren (Sarah) Tolley; Kellie (Ralph) Carter all of Pamplin; great-grandchildren, Hunter, Dylan, Patrick, Peyton, and Bryant Tolley; Kayla and Justin Carter; Kristen (Jeremy) Lakes; daughter-in-law, Betty Tolley; Brothers, Ralph Mann of Union, WV and Lindy (Betty) Mann of Ronceverte, WV.
She was preceded in death by a brother Art Mann, Jr. and a sister, Jean Morris.
The two great loves of Edith's life were God and her family. She overflowed with joy when she served the Lord. Whether it was singing hymns, listening to a sermon, giving a hug, visiting a nursing home patient or working in the kitchen, she always looked beautiful and had a kind word. Her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the center of her world, and she made each one feel very special. She spent much time keeping in touch with her brothers and sister, all of whom she loved dearly. She leaves her family with the priceless blessing of having learned life's lessons from one of God's most special angels.

Funeral services will be held at2:00 P.M., Saturday Feb. 9, 2013 at Piney Ridge United Methodist Church by the Rev. Herndon Jeffreys. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Robinson Funeral Home from 5-7 PM today (Friday) and at other times at the residence.
