Obituary
Dorothy Romaine Fedison, 94, died Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at Westminster Canterbury. She was the wife of the late John Fedison.
Born on August 27, 1920, in Newark, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Tessie Doriskie and John Mark Romaine. She was an elder and member of Appomattox Court House Presbyterian Church. Dorothy was an American Red Cross volunteer in California and Virginia and was a past member of the Appomattox Woman's Club and the Appomattox Garden Club.
She is survived by her son, Dr. John M. Fedison and wife, Ginny of Appomattox; three grandsons and their wives, John K. and Carolyn Fedison, David W. and Neida Fedison, and James W. and Ellen Fedison; and seven great-grandchildren, Tyler Fedison, Haley Fedison, Maximo Fedison, Caroline Toro, Kayla Fedison, Ryan Fedison, and Kendra Fedison.
A graveside service will be held 4 p.m., Sunday, August 9, 2015, at Liberty Cemetery by the Rev. Gene Beverly.
