Doris Lucille Shaver, 82, of Carson Drive, Spout Spring, died Monday, September 7, 2015, at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was born in Kingfisher, West Va., on January 15, 1933, a daughter of the late Lelah Bell Hamrick and Gratton Moffatt.

She is survived by three children, Carol D. Hall and husband George W. Sr., Larry D. Shaver and wife, Jean, and Kevin A. Shaver all of Spout Spring; two grandchildren, Thomas Dale Shaver and Amanda DeAnn Shaver; brothers and sisters, Don and Opelene Moffatt, Dora Grounds all of Webster Springs, West Va., Donnie Rogers of Arnoldsburg, West Va., and Dorothy Plonako of Cleveland, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

A memorial service will be held 2 p.m., Sunday, September 20, 2015, at Spout Spring Baptist Church by the Rev. Paul Kvasnicka.
