Obituary
Doris Lytle Shaffer, 90, died Friday morning June 18, 2010 in Appomattox Health & Rehab. She was the widow of Charles S. Shaffer.
Doris was born in Baltimore, MD on August 17, 1919 a daughter of the late Robert B. and Florence Marie Christopher Lytle. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her daughter, Catherine A. Hamm and her husband Charles of Concord, 4 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
Funeral services will be conducted at St. Margaret's Catholic Church in Baltimore on Wednesday June23, 2010. Burial will follow in Moreland Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Schimunek Funeral Home, 610 MacPhail Rd., Bel Air, MD 21014 (410-638-5360) on Tuesday evening.
A memorial service will be held at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church by Father Jim Gallagher at a later date.
