Doris Mae Bryant, 70, of Appomattox, died, Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Lynchburg General Hospital.

Born in Charlottesville, Va., on January 20, 1948, she was a daughter of the late Louise Gentry and Daniel Clifford Bryant. Doris was affiliated with the Pentecostal Holiness Church.

She is survived by two children, Ricky Lee Mayberry and wife, Rhonda and Jennifer Jo Fitch and husband, Keith; one brother, Benjamin (Peter) Bryant and wife, Janice; one sister, Brenda Bryant and fiancé, Grover Smith all of Appomattox; three grandchildren, Jade Mayberry Barringer and husband, Danny, Shayne Lee Wardell, Alexus Wardell Ferguson and husband, Christopher; six great-grandchildren, Skyllar, Michael, Adell, Dashiel, Grayson "Tootie", and Everlee; and numerous nieces and nephews, including special nieces April Burrell, Danielle Everton , Christie Martin ; and two special great nephews (her little buddies) Joseph Burrell and Christian Henry; and a special caregiver Marie Bentley.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Claudia Ann Deavers and Virginia Wells.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Robinson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Mayberry Family cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Robinson Funeral Home.
