Obituary
Donnie Ray Eagle, 51, of Purdum Mill Road, Appomattox, died Wednesday, February 13, 2013 in Lewis-Gale Hospital, Salem, VA.
Donnie was born in Farmville on August 29, 1961 a son of the late Bobby Ray Eagle and Elsie Bryant Mann and her husband, Harry of Appomattox.
In addition to his mother and step-father, he is survived by a son, Michael Brian Eagle of Lynchburg; a daughter, Stacey Ray Rice of Appomattox; brother, Terry L. Eagle and wife, Martha of Concord; sister, Joan E. Floyd and husband, Peter of Spout Spring; half-brother, Robert R. Eagle and wife, Dana of Evergreen; nephew, Bradley W. Floyd and wife, Sarah of Spout Spring; two nieces, Jordan E. and Kaylynn M. Eagle both of Concord; great-niece, Braelyn N. Floyd.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Rhonda Kay Eagle and a nephew, Vincent Daniel Floyd.
Funeral service will be held at Robinson Funeral Home on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. with the Rev. Jerry Childress officiating. Burial will follow in the Bryant Family Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7-8:30 P.M. Friday February 15, 2013 and at other times at the home of Elsie and Harry Mann.
