Appomattox – Donald Willard Hart, Sr., 66, of Redfields Road, died early Saturday morning at Lynchburg General Hospital. Twice married, his first wife was Diane Ray Hart and he is survived by his second wife, Rosenia Haymond Hart.
Donald was born in Tazewell Co., Va. On Feb. 28, 1941 a son of the late Bonnie Lee Testerman and James Sherman Hart. He was a member of Bethel Bible Church and a self-employed painter.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Donald W. Hart, Jr., of Elkton, MD; David W. Hart and Rose White of New Castle, DE; Drema H. Jones and her husband, Jack of New Castle, DE, 3 sisters and their husbands, Nancy & Walt Bailey; Peggy & Tom Kremski all of Pamplin; Mary and Bill Divers of Roanoke; two brothers and their wives, Jerry & Barbara Hart of Cleveland, VA; Russ and June Hart of Roanoke; 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Shelby Hart, Jack Hart, J.C. Hart and Juanita Hart.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Today (Sunday) at Robinson Funeral Home by Rev. Bunny and Blonnie Gregory. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery.
The family will visit with friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
