Donald Thomas Andrews, Sr., 52, of Promise Land Rd., Appomattox, died Tuesday morning, March 8, 2011 in Lynchburg General Hospital. He was the husband of Teresa "Terri" Aquilar Andrews.

Born February 1, 1959 in Steubenville, Ohio, he was a son of the late Charles and Anna Weaver Andrews. He was a member of the Swift Island Hunting Club and an Electrician with Georgia-Pacific Corp.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons; Travis Donald Andrews, Irvin, TX, Donald T. Andrews, Jr., Arlington, TX, and Adam Andrews, Appomattox; one daughter, Shauna Andrews, Appomattox; two brothers, Ronald Andrews, Reidsville, NC, and Charles Andrews, Jr., Steuberville, OH; one sister, Rosemary A. Chiota, Steubenville, OH.

In accordance to Donald's wishes, there will not be any formal memorial service. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 11, 2011, from 7:00 to 8:30 pm at Robinson Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
