Dona Jeanne Brodmerkel Wilson, 83, of Columbus Road, Concord, died Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at her residence.

Born March 22, 1937, in Kansas, Missouri, she was a daughter of the late LaVaun Lowderman and Richard Everett Brodmerkel.  Dona was a member of Lynchburg First Church of the Nazarene and the Heimdal Science Fiction Club.

She is survived by three daughters, Theresa Austin Baker and husband, Rusty of Lynchburg, Tammera Austin White of Concord and Michelle Austin Whitten and husband, James "Tiny" III, of Concord; three grandchildren, Melissa Lee Boatwright and husband, Matthew, Robin Marie Hudson and Jennifer Lynn Whitten; three great-grandchildren, Madison, Emmi and Seth; and special friends, Marilynn Bryant, Diane Austin, Sandy Hogan and Phyllis Winfrey.

She was preceded in death by two husbands, Joseph Thomas Austin and Donald Ray Wilson; a grandson, Jeremy Joseph Austin; and a son-in-law, John Clifton White.

The family will receive friends at the home of her daughter Theresa, 4507 Brooklawn Circle Lynchburg, VA 24502, from 1 p.m. until 7 p.m., Thursday, November 5, 2020 and Friday, November 6, 2020.

A celebration of Dona's life will be held Sunday, November 15, 2020 at Lynchburg First Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Stephen Willis officiating.
