Obituary
Dennis Earl Williams, 55, of Thornhill Lane, Gladstone, died at his residence Saturday morning, February 20, 2010, following a brief illness.
Born in Lynchburg, on November 6, 1954, he was a son of Ferris E. (Sonny) Williams of Gladstone and the late Rosa Thornhill Williams. Dennis was the operator of Bag-a-Bunch Grocery, a Marine veteran of the Vietnam War, and a member
of Hollins Road Baptist Church.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his daughter, Michele Leigh Williams of Clyde, NC; three brothers, F. Edward Williams, Jr., Michael T. Williams both of Gladstone, and Dan W. Williams of New York; step-mother, Katie C. Williams of Gladstone; one step-sister; four step-brothers; and many good friends.
A time of sharing and gathering for friends and family will be held at Robinson Funeral Home from 2-3:30 PM on Saturday, February 27, 2010. A memorial service will begin at 3:30 PM officiated by the Pastor Freddie Wells.
Those wishing to remember Dennis may do so by making a donation at Robinson Funeral Home for his final expenses.
