Obituary
Delmas "Del" Clyde Ragland, Jr., 42, of Appomattox died on Wednesday, November 9, 2011. Born March 27, 1969, he was the son of Delmas C. Ragland, Sr. and Helen Taylor Ragland.
In addition to his parents, Del is survived by a special aunt, Shirley Ragland, who was like a second mother to him and a very special uncle, Roger Ragland. He is also survived by other aunts and uncles whom he loved very much.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at Robinson Funeral Home by the Rev. Jeff Worley. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service and others times at the residence.
The family wishes to acknowledge the excellent care shown to Del by Dr. Lockridge and the staff of Lynchburg Nephrology.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1030 Oakville Road, Appomattox, VA 24522 or the Kidney Foundation of Virginia, 2601 Willard Road, Suite 103, Richmond, VA 23294.
