Debra Seay Bryant

Debra Seay Bryant, 68, of Gladstone, VA, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at Southside Community Hospital.

Born in Farmville, VA, on July 26, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Faye Juanita Guill Seay and the late Charlie Omar Seay.

She is survived by one daughter, Tracy Ripley and husband, David; two grandchildren, Kaitlyn and fiancé, Alan Vallejo, and Dustin; two siblings, Steve Seay and wife, Thelma of Buckingham, and Janice Tolbert and husband, Pete of Hixburg; dog, Rocky; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A private family service will be held at a later date.

The family wants to express gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Southside Hospital. A big thank you to the ICU Staff for the compassion and comfort care provided.
