Deborah Mealy Davis-Bruce, 66 of Appomattox, VA passed away on March 30.  She was born on July 27, 1958, in Richmond, VA. Proceeding her in death is her father, Silas Mealy, Jr.

Left to cherish her memory, husband Dean Bruce, two daughters, Paris Barbosa (Chris), Candice Tillar (Marcus), two stepchildren children, Nathaniel Bruce (Rozine), Candice Bruce, mother, Cozie Mealy, brother Ronnie Mealy and seven grandchildren that she adored.

Deborah graduated from Goochland High School. Thereafter she worked as a model and in the management of an employment agency. She loved bible study, crafting, spending time and baking for her family.

She will be sorely missed.

The heart is never ready, and the time is never right to say goodbye. In life we loved you dearly. In death we love you still. In our hearts you hold a place that no one else can fill. It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn't go alone for part of us went with you the day that God took you home. Treasured in our hearts you'll stay until we meet again.
