David Richard Rockwell, 66, of Lynchburg, died Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at his residence.

Born in Detroit, Michigan, he was a son of the late Ruth Louise Van Wagnor Rockwell and David James Rockwell.

He is survived by his sister, Sharon Neas and husband, Billy of Spout Spring; brother, Tommy Wood; two nieces Katie Bradley and husband, Brandon of Concord and Holly Wood of Lynchburg; nephew, Bronson Wood; great-nephews, Lucas Allen, Walker Bradley and Collin Bradley; great-nieces, Jaycee Wood and Tommi Wood; best friends, Billy Keyes, Sr., and Tony Tronco and wife, Carrie.

He was preceded in death by a nephew, Travis Orndorff, III.

The family will receive friends from 3 until 5 pm., Saturday, December 9, 2023, at Robinson Funeral Home.
