David Michael Guthrie, 52, of Columbus Rd., Concord, died Monday, August 8, 2016.
Born in Lynchburg, Va., on March 9, 1964, he was a son of the late Junior Guthrie and Leabria Anne deBernard Guthrie. He was employed by Banker Steel.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Marie Guthrie; his mother, Leabria Guthrie of Rustburg; two step-children, Frank James of Lynchburg and Paula Edwards of Prince George; two brothers, Timothy Guthrie and wife, Barbara of Altavista and Keith Wayne Guthrie of Chattanooga, Tenn.; a sister, Wanda Gale Allen and husband, Bobby of Texas; three nephews, two nieces; and his "baby boy", Fred Tazmanian Guthrie.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Andrea Guthrie and a niece, Heather Guthrie.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
