Daniel Hudson, 19, of Hundley Springs Road, Appomattox, went to be with his Heavenly Father Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at the University of Virginia Hospital.

Born in Lynchburg, April 29, 1996 he was a son of Russel "R.D." Hudson and fiancé, Cathy of Appomattox and Karena Norman and husband, Christian of Kernersville, NC. Daniel served his country as an airplane mechanic in the Air Department of the U.S. Navy. He was a member of Reedy Creek Hunt Club.

In addition to his parents R.D. and Karena, he is survived by his brother, James Russell Hudson of Appomattox; grandparents, Jerry and Betty Hudson, Travis and Cherrie Jaggars all of Appomattox; aunts and uncles, Jeff and JoAnne Jaggars, Brent and Heather Jaggars, Chris and Ashley Jaggars and Rita Hudson; numerous great aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by an uncle, Jerry "Butch" Hudson and beloved great uncle Roger Wills.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Liberty Baptist Church with Chaplain Maurice Buford officiating. Burial will follow in the Driskill Family Cemetery, Hundley Springs Road, Appomattox.

The family will receive friends at the residence.
