Daniel Glenn "Danny" Carson, 60, of Blue Ridge Drive, Appomattox, died Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at his residence. He was the husband of Debi Lynn Carson.

Born in Lynchburg, Va., on October 23, 1958, he was a son of the late Daniel Eugene Carson and Edna Mae Davis Carson of Appomattox. He was a member of Hebron Baptist Church and a former Dairy Farmer. Danny designed, owned and operated Mt. View Golf course.

In addition to his wife, Debi and mother, Edna; he is survived by his son, Dylan Lee Carson and Allaina Newman of Lynchburg; step-son, Alex J. Brendel and his wife, Wrenn of Salem and their children, Hudson and Fiona; a sister, Carol Ruth C. Sandvig and her husband, Greg of Appomattox; his cat, Crip; numerous uncles, aunts, sisters-in-law and their families, and friends.

A graveside funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Hebron Baptist Church by the Rev. Mitch Luckie.

The family will receive friends at the residence.
