Donald Michael (Mike) Doss, 56, of Soybean Dr., Appomattox, died suddenly, on Saturday, August 17, 2013 in Roanoke. He was the loving husband of Wanda Dixon Doss for 32 years.

Born in Cary, Ohio, on August 26, 1956, he was a son of the late Edith Baldwin and Robert Lawrence (Dude) Doss. Mike was a master electrician for Southern Air for 25 years, a member of Friendship Baptist Church, and served his country in the US Navy.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three brothers, Robert O. Doss and his wife, Myrna of Spout Spring, David L. Doss and his wife, Beth of Richmond, Edward W. Doss of Roanoke; a sister Nancy Marie D. Page of Appomattox; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and a special buddy, Sam.

The family will receive friends at Robinson Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 from 7-8:30 p.m. and other times at the residence.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 21, 2013, in Friendship Baptist Church by the Rev. Rayford Fleshman. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery.
