Craig Southall Bryant, Jr., 65, of Rambling Lane, Appomattox died Sunday June 1, 2014 in Lynchburg General Hospital.

Craig was born in Amelia, VA on January 12, 1949 a son of the late Ruby Graveley and Craig S. ,"Doc" Bryant, Sr. Craig was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and was disabled.

He is survived by his beloved canine companion, "Bullet", a son, Kevin Bryant; two sisters, Wanda Wampler and Hope Epperson; three brothers, Fred Bryant, David Bryant and Russell Bryant; two step-daughters, Kerrie Hoke and her children, Brandon, Alesha and Carly Hoke; Kimberly Martin and husband, Randy and their children, Robbie, Regan and Riley Martin, all of Amelia.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday June 4, 2014 at Robinson Funeral Home officiated by the Rev. John Muth. Burial will follow in Amelia Veterans Cemetery at 2: 00 P.M. with Military Honors accorded by the Virginia Military Funeral Honor Guard from Ft. Pickett.
