Cornelia Murrell Millner Williams, 91, of Appomattox, passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2023, at her residence. She was the loving and dedicated wife of Jack Hunter Williams, Sr. for 72 years.

Born in Bedford on April 3, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Jessie Gordon Millner and Martha Virginia Burks Millner. She loved flowers and was known for her green thumb and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.

She is survived by two children, Dianne W. Braford and husband, Jimmy, and Jack H. Williams, Jr. and wife, Terry; six grandchildren, Amy Peterson, Whitney Braford, Jessica O'Brien, Wyatt Williams, Aaron Turner, and Cole Williams; 10 great-grandchildren, Tyler, Josh, and Braxton Peterson, Caden Braford Gabrian Palacios, Ace and Madison O'Brien, and Denali, Kayson, and Evinleigh Williams; and two brothers, Orie Millner, and Russell Millner.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Jessie Millner, Jr., Glenn Millner, and Ronald Millner; and one sister, Marye Snow.

The family wants to give a special thanks to Tomika and Mercedes Wright, Patricia Harden, Rose Wheeler, and Sally Edwards for all the love and care they gave Murrell and her family.

A funeral service will be held 11 am, Monday, July 17, 2023, at Robinson Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Rusty Small officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery.
