Obituary

Clyde Vinson Campbell, 74, of Little Dogwood Rd., Spout Spring, died August 28, 2010 at his residence. He was the husband of Ida H. Campbell.

Born in Nelson County, on August 31, 1935, he was a son of the late Claude Conrad Campbell and Mary Sue Mays Campbell. Clyde was a member of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his wife he is survived by three children, Susan Lynn Crawford of Forest, Michael Vincent Campbell of Atlanta, GA, and Janice C. White and husband, Lee of Spout Spring and two grandsons, Stoner and Noah White.

The family would like to express their appreciation to Gentle Shepherd Hospice, Generation Solutions, Dr. Robert Brennan, Dr. Larry Smith, and all the nurses on the 3rd floor surgical unit at Lynchburg General Hospital.

Graveside funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 30, 2010, at Evergreen Cemetery by the Rev. Adam Tyler.

The family will receive friends at Robinson Funeral Home Sunday from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. and other times at the residence.
