Obituary
Clayton William (Tator) Cyrus, Jr., 56, of Plain Run Rd., Appomattox, died Tuesday, March 23, 2010, in Lynchburg General Hospital.
Born in Lynchburg, on April 10, 1953, he was a son of Rosa Higginbotham and Clayton W. Cyrus Sr. of Appomattox. Tator was a member of Reedy Springs Baptist Church and was employed by J. D. Martin Lumber Co.
In addition to his parents he is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie and Beverly Cyrus of Evergreen and a niece Courtney Cyrus Gunn and her husband, Brian of Charlottesville.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Friday, March 26, 2010, in Reedy Springs Baptist Church by the Rev. John Muth. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends today, Thursday, March 25, from 7-8:30 pm at Robinson Funeral Home and other times at the home of Ronnie and Beverly Cyrus, 2849 Cedar Bend Rd., Appomattox.
