Clarence Henry Franklin, 90, of Prospect was called home on November 14, 2022, at Appomattox Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Born on April 19, 1932, in Prince Edward County, VA, he was the son of the late Robert Franklin and Hallie W. Franklin. He was a US Army veteran serving in the 4 ^th division Infantry in Germany and a retired supervisor for Templeton Paving. Clarence was very well known throughout his community and neighboring communities and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his children, Steve Franklin and wife, Sandra, Shelia Baldwin and husband, Pete, and Doug Franklin and wife, Vicky, and his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by a son, Kenneth W. Franklin; a daughter-in-law, Karen Franklin; and all his siblings.

The family would like to thank the staff of Appomattox Health and Rehab and his many caregivers for taking great care of him. They would also like to thank Robinson Funeral Home for handling his final wishes.
