Clara Blanche Scott McCormick
Appomattox: Clara Blanche Scott McCormick, 87, of Phelps Branch Road, died Saturday November 24, 2007, in the Appomattox Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Robert McCormick.
Born in Greensboro, North Carolina, September 26, 1920, she was the daughter of the late James Burley and Blanche Powell Scott, a member of Red Oak Baptist Church and a homemaker.
Clara is survived by a nephew, Richard Forest Scott, of Pamplin, who was like a brother to her, and many other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday November 27, 2007 at Robinson Funeral Home with the Rev. Tom Barker, officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Monday November 26, 2007.
